Prof. Jung Chan Lee, Ph.D
Professor Jung Chan Lee received the BS degree in School of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, Seoul National University College of Engineering in 2001, and the Ph.D. degree from Interdisciplinary Program of Medical and Biological Engineering, Seoul National University Graduate School in 2008. From 2008 through 2011, he was appointed as a senior researcher at the Institute of Medical and Biological Engineering, Medical Research Center, Seoul National University. From 2011 through 2014, He worked as a research professor at the Institute of Medical and Biological Engineering, Medical Research Center, Seoul National University. He is currently working as an associate professor at the Department of Biomedical Engineering, Seoul National University College of Medicine (http://medicine.snu.ac.kr) and also as an adjunctive professor at the Interdisciplinary Program in Bioengineering, Graduate School, Seoul National University (http://bioeng.snu.ac.kr). He is also responsible for Design Studio/Machine Shop and Division of Medical Device R&D Support, Medical Device Innovation Center in Seoul National University Hospital Biomedical Research Institute (http://bri.snuh.org). His current research interests include biomechanics, artificial organs, mechanical pump for medical use, and design methodology for medical device. He is a member of Korean Society of Medical and Biological Engineering (KOSOMBE, 2001), Korean Society of Mechanical Engineering (KSME, 2014), Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE, 2013) and its sub-society, Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society (IEEE-EMBS, 2013), and Korean Society of Artificial Organs (KSAO, 2015).
